Part 3 | "The Hardware" is secured as Auburn caps off the perfect season winning the National Championship. Unspoken: 2010 concludes with the memories of that magical night in Arizona and the bond of a team that will go down as one of the greatest in Auburn history.

🎙️ TALKING TIGERS

Talking Tigers: Quentin Riggins — He played in the Iron Bowl at Legion Field and Jordan-Hare Stadium. Quentin Riggins then walked the sidelines as a member of the Auburn Sports Network. In this special edition of the Talking Tigers Podcast, Riggins, now a member of the Auburn University Board of Trustees, talks about Iron Bowl memories, including that historic 1989 game, the first on the Plains.

🔼  Deuce Is Loose. Auburn quarterback Deuce Knight has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week! In his first start, he tied Cam Newton and Carnell Williams’ program record by accounting for six touchdowns on Saturday. Knight threw for 239 yards and rushed for 162.

🔼 Win City. No. 21 Auburn men’s basketball downed Oregon 84-73 in the Players Era Championship! Tahaad Pettiford and Keyshawn Hall combined to score half of the Tigers’ points. Pettiford led the game with 24 points, adding four assists and four rebounds. Hall scored 18 and grabbed six boards. The Tigers committed just six turnovers while forcing 18. They’ll play Michigan tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT on TNT.

🎥 Highlights

🔼  Hot Start. Auburn women’s basketball improved to 7-0 as they beat UTSA 59-42 in their first game at the Hoopfest Challenge. The Tigers forced UTSA into 30 turnovers, the most by an Auburn opponent this season. Mya Petticord led the way with 14 points. Kaitlyn Duhon contributed on both ends of the floor with seven points, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks. They’ll take on California tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.

🔼 Welcome To The Plains. Auburn men’s tennis signed Spaniards Manel Lazaro and Alvaro Jimenez Roman. Lazaro, joining in January, brings a high ITF singles ranking of No. 8. Jimenez, holding ATP rankings in both singles and doubles, will join next fall.
