🎙️ TALKING TIGERS

As a redshirt freshman, he didn’t miss. Alex McPherson literally didn’t miss a field goal or an extra point. As a redshirt sophomore, he couldn’t kick. The Fort Payne, Alabama, native was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. After dropping 57 pounds, the decision was made to remove his colon at 21 years of age. This season, McPherson has returned to kick for the Tigers. He missed three field goal attempts against Missouri, then a week later, he tied an Auburn and SEC record with six field goals in the win at Arkansas. Since that Missouri game, he’s made 10 straight field goals.
