Auburn Access goes into the Auburn locker room following the Vanderbilt game. Hear from DJ Durkin and Derrick Nix as they talk to the team after the game.

🔼 Double It. Auburn women’s basketball defeated Alabama State 82-41 in Saturday’s home opener! Mya Petticord led the Tigers with 21 points with three 3-pointers. Ja’Mia Harris hit four 3-pointers, finishing the day with 16 points. Auburn forced 29 turnovers that led to 30 points.

The Tigers will host UNC Greensboro for Military Appreciation Night tonight at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.

🔼 Shootout In The South. Auburn football took No. 15 Vanderbilt to overtime before ultimately falling 45-38. Down eight points, Ashton Daniels found Cam Coleman in the end zone to bring the game within two. Daniels found him again to tie the game with a successful 2-point conversion. Coleman led receivers with 143 yards and a touchdown, while Eric Singleton Jr. made 11 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Cobb rushed for 115 yards.

🔼 Victory On The Plains. The third-ranked equestrian team downed No. 2 South Carolina 13-6 in Auburn’s SEC home opener. Three Tigers earned Most Outstanding Performer honors — Avery Glynn in Fences, Callie Hogg in Horsemanship and Alexia Tordoff in Reining.

Bidding Wars. Multiple Tiger tennis players earned bids to the NCAA Championships! On the men’s team, Hamza Nasridinov earned a bid to the NCAA Singles Championship, while brothers Billy and Freddy Blaydes received a bid to the NCAA Doubles Championship. Women’s tennis player Ava Esposito earned a bid to the NCAA Singles Championship after winning three matches at the ITA South Sectional Championships.
