🔼 Reset Week. Auburn football fell 24–14 at No. 17 Tennessee on Saturday, despite taking a 7–3 lead into halftime. Byrum Brown rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, while Keshaun Singleton finished with seven catches for 54 yards. The Tigers enter the bye week at 3–2 overall and prepare to play Georgia in Athens on Oct. 17.

🔼 Saddle Up. No. 3 Auburn equestrian defeated No. 5 SMU 12–7 on Saturday. The Tigers won Flat, Horsemanship and Reining to secure the top-five win. Avery Glynn earned Most Outstanding Performer honors in Flat, and Michelle Fumagalli collected her first career MOP award in Reining. They’ll host No. 2 South Carolina on Friday.

Instant Impact. Auburn freshman swimmer Gabriel Machuco won both of his individual events as Auburn opened its swimming season at the College Swimming League meet at Stanford. He won the 100 medley and 200 medley, helping the Tigers finish third overall. Auburn also won the men’s 50 freestyle and 4x50 freestyle relay. Warner Russ and Mike Rice delivered a one-two finish in the 50 freestyle.
