🔼 Tiger Tussle. Auburn football hosts No. 18 LSU tomorrow at 11 a.m. CT on ABC, looking for a second consecutive ranked victory. Protecting the football will be a major part of the assignment against an LSU defense that has racked up 26 sacks and allows fewer than 16 points per game. Wear orange and be loud!

🏈 The Opening Drive

🔼 Fell Short. Behind 26 points and six three-pointers from Kevin Overton, Auburn men’s basketball battled No. 20 Alabama in an 87-85 exhibition thriller in Birmingham. The back-and-forth contest featured 12 lead changes, with Auburn holding a late advantage before the Crimson Tide escaped with the win. The Tigers will close preseason action next Thursday against Samford at Neville Arena.

🔼 Jungle Residency. Auburn volleyball is settling in for a six-match homestand, beginning with Ole Miss tonight at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network. The Tigers have won 12 of their last 16 meetings with the Rebels and will look to make home court count after two weeks on the road. Wear white tonight, then come back for Sunday’s Country Bash against LSU at 2 p.m. CT.

🔼 Rein Check. The top-ranked equestrian team hosts No. 4 Texas A&M today at 3 p.m. CT for its Military Appreciation Meet. Auburn has already beaten SMU and South Carolina at home this season and will look to keep that run going against another highly ranked opponent.

🔼 Honor Society. Auburn’s Josiah Gilbert has added SEC Co-Golfer of the Week recognition to his Williams Cup trophy. His performance helped top-ranked Auburn continue a strong start as the Tigers have finished first or second in each of their three tournaments this season.

🔼 Defense Delivers. Auburn soccer picked up another valuable SEC road point last night, battling Florida to a 1-1 draw in Gainesville. Senior Jordyn Crosby scored her first goal of the season to put the No. 25 Tigers ahead early, while Auburn's defense continued its remarkable campaign. The Tigers have allowed just five goals all season, tied for the second-fewest nationally, and have yet to concede a second-half goal. Auburn closes the regular season at Texas on Nov. 1.

Remembering A Hero. Tomorrow’s pregame flyover will honor U.S. Air Force Maj. John “Alex” Klinner, a 2016 Auburn mechanical engineering graduate who died while serving his country in March. Four F-35 Lightning II jets flown by Auburn graduates will fly over following the national anthem.

Klinner’s family will also join a presentation recognizing a memorial scholarship supporting Auburn mechanical engineering students in Air Force ROTC.
