🔼 Auburn In Austin. Auburn women’s basketball will play at No. 2 Texas tonight at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network+. Auburn’s strong defense will challenge Texas’ high-scoring offense. The Longhorns are one of four remaining undefeated teams in DI women’s basketball.

🔼 Coach’s Coach. Meet Jeff Jones, Auburn football’s director of player development! Jones met head coach Alex Golesh when he was just 15 years old, serving as his high school coach. He recognized Coach Golesh’s leadership and teaching abilities early on. Golesh hired Jones at South Florida and again at Auburn, valuing his mentorship and dedication to student-athletes.

🔼 Auburn Made. In the final week of the NFL’s regular season, former Tigers made their marks!

• Daniel Carlson nailed a career-long 60-yard game-winning field goal for the Las Vegas Raiders as they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a perfect outing, making all four of his attempts from 32, 23, 55 and 60 yards.

• Tank Bigsby scored his second touchdown of the season in his first start with the Philadelphia Eagles. He totaled 106 yards from scrimmage with a game-high 75 rushing yards. He also recorded a career-long 31-yard reception.

• Derrick Brown and the Carolina Panthers clinched the NFC South and a playoff berth. Brown led the Panthers with a career-high 13 tackles.

• Jamien Sherwood recorded seven tackles in the New York Jets’ regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills. He finished the season tied for seventh in total tackles with 154.

• Jaylin Simpson saw his first extended action of the season with the Green Bay Packers. He totaled eight tackles and five solo stops.

Starting Strong. Auburn women’s tennis will start the 2026 season ranked No. 4 in the ITA rankings! The Tigers finished the 2025 season ranked No. 8 and made an NCAA Super Regional appearance. The team, featuring six returners and five newcomers, will open the season with a home doubleheader against Bellarmine on Sunday.
