🎙️ FACE TO FACE

Associate Head Coach/Co-Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers Kodi Burns sits down with Jeff Shearer for an exclusive interview on WarEagle+.

🔼 Came Up Short. Auburn men’s basketball lost to No. 23 Georgia 104-100 in overtime after a dramatic last-second rally in the SEC opener. Despite outrebounding Georgia 50-35 and having strong performances from Tahaad Pettiford, Keyshawn Hall and Kevin Overton, Auburn struggled with missed free throws and one-on-one defense. Pettiford led the Tigers with 25 points, while Hall scored 20. Filip Jovic recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Auburn will host Texas A&M tomorrow night at 8 p.m. CT.

🔼 Strong Defensive Effort. The women’s basketball team forced 25 turnovers and held No. 23 Tennessee eight points below its scoring average, but ultimately fell short. The Tigers fell 73-56 in the SEC home opener. Khady Leye led Auburn with 14 points and six rebounds. They’ll play at No. 2 Texas on Thursday.
