Bodda Getta Brew 1/31: Miles From Doubt
Go "Above the Rim With Miles Kelly" to hear how sure he was that he sunk the winning three-pointer against Tennessee.
Good Morning, Auburn Family. Miles Kelly never had a doubt.
As soon as Johni Broome passed to Kelly in the corner, Miles did not hesitate, swishing a second-chance corner 3-pointer with 30 seconds left to give No. 1 Auburn a 53-51 win over No. 6 Tennessee Saturday at Neville Arena.
“As soon as it left my hands, I knew it was good,” Kelly said. “Those are the moments I live for.”
Auburn’s leading 3-point shooter with 45 makes at 42.5-percent, Kelly helped lead the top-ranked Tigers to a 7-0 start in SEC play and the AP No. 1 ranking for the second time in program history.
Read “Above the Rim With Miles Kelly” for more on his transfer from Georgia Tech, his NBA goals and why he always had his eye on Auburn.
