🎥 WAREAGLE+: AUBURN ACCESS

🔼 Dawg Training. Tahaad Pettiford scored a career-high 24 points and No. 1 Auburn survived No. 23 Georgia’s furious last-minute rally to win 70-68 Saturday at Stegeman Coliseum, the Tigers’ 10th consecutive victory.

🗣 “It’s a great road win. There are a lot of things to learn from. We missed some free throws late which we haven’t done. Georgia’s going to beat almost everybody who comes in here. Proud of our ball club.” - Bruce Pearl, head coach

🎥 : HIGHLIGHTS

🔼 All About Those Treys. Beating Missouri at its own long-range game, Auburn made three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to win the battle of the Tigers 75-60 Sunday at Neville Arena—the squad’s first SEC victory.

🗣 “Our team has to be hungry every time we step on the court. That has to be the mindset. We are getting some people healthy and we’re able to play the way we want to play. I think that brings some of that confidence.” - Johnnie Harris, head coach

🔼 Vaulting Over the Competition. In her Neville Arena debut, freshman Katelyn Jong won the all-around to lead No. 12 Auburn to a 196.7-196.25 win over No. 17 Arkansas Friday at Neville Arena. Jong’s roommate, fellow freshman Marissa Neal, also dazzled, winning the beam crown and sharing the floor title with Jong and teammate Sophia Groth.

The Tigers won three event titles outright and shared the floor title in a five-way tie with the Razorbacks.

🗣“It’s a privilege to be here and perform in front of your fans. We have a deep team and we intend to continue to use different lineups.” - Jeff Graba, head coach

🔼 Lights, Camera, Auburn Hoops. For the fifth time in program history and fifth straight season, ESPN's College GameDay covered by State Farm is coming to The Plains on Saturday, Jan. 25. College GameDay will air from 10-11 a.m. CT with tipoff between No. 1 Auburn and No. 6 Tennessee at 7:30 p.m.

The one-hour show, hosted by Rece Davis, along with analysts Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg and Andraya Carter, will be aired live ahead of the Tigers' SEC showdown with the Volunteers at Neville Arena.

🔼 Dubs ‘N’ Doubles. Auburn Men’s Tennis began its 2025 dual match season with a pair of wins over Mercer and North Alabama on Friday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Alabama. The Tigers shut out Mercer 7-0 before defeating North Alabama 6-1 in the nightcap. Five Auburn players made their collegiate dual match debut on Friday during the two wins: Mats Bredschneijder, Alex Frusina, Jake Kennedy, Hamza Nasridinov and Joey Phillips.

🔼 A Big Splash. Behind 18 event victories combined, head coach Ryan Wochomurka and the Auburn Tigers took home a pair of dual wins on Friday as the men bested Kentucky, 179-121, and the women beat the Wildcats, 163-137, inside Lancaster Aquatic Center.

Orange and Blue relays made sure to open the meet on the right foot. Lora Komoroczy, Anastasia Makarova, Abby Gibbons and Lawson Ficken dialed up a 1:37.85 in the 200 medley relay to kick off Friday with an early win. Similarly, Nate Stoffle, Henry Bethel, Kalle Makinen and Logan Tirheimer left everyone in the dust, sliding in at 1:24.70 to open the men’s side with a victory.

🔼 Dubs ‘N’ Doubles, Part Deux. The Jordan Szabo coaching era at Auburn began with two wins on Saturday, as the Tigers defeated both North Alabama and UAB by 6-1 final scores at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Alabama.

On court one, NCAA Doubles Championship semifinalists DJ Bennett and Ava Hrastar came out strong, jumping out to a 5-0 lead over Stanislava Bobrovnikova and Anoek Pruijmboom before ultimately winning 6-1.

🔼 Throwing Their Weight Around. The Auburn track and field team opened the 2025 indoor season with a strong showing in Birmingham, Alabama Friday at the Samford Invitational competing at the Birmingham CrossPlex. The Tigers took home four event wins and six collegiate personal bests, but it was the throws squad that highlighted the team's outing.

On the men’s side, junior Matthew Rueff won the men's shot put with a strong mark of 18.21m, placing him eighth on Auburn’s Indoor Top Performers list. For the women, seniors Maura Huwalt and Adrienne Adams claimed gold and silver in weight throw.
