He met Alex Golesh in Columbus, Ohio. They were neighbors. He was also the offensive coordinator on Golesh’s high school football team. Jeff Jones went to work for Golesh at South Florida after 29 years as a high school coach, teacher and administrator in Ohio. When Golesh was hired at Auburn, Jones came along as the Director of Player Development.

🔼 Tuesday Trip. Auburn men’s basketball will play at Ole Miss tonight at 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU. The Tigers are coming off a win over South Carolina, while the Rebels are coming off a win over Mississippi State.

🔼 Get Your Popcorn. The fourth-ranked women’s tennis team hosts Georgia Tech today at 3 p.m. CT. Enjoy Popcorn Palooza with fresh popped cinnamon sugar and regular popcorn! There will also be a post-match kids’ clinic.
