Check out this video for moving stories on what these Auburn students, alums, coaches (Hugh Freeze), and families say Auburn and its traditions have meant to them throughout the years.

🎙 Two Talking Tigers podcasts
🐅 And much, much more!

Talking Tigers - Mark Chapman (Pt .2)
He planned to walk on at Florida. As a matter of fact, Mark Chapman didn’t know Auburn was in the state of Alabama. Auburn Assistant Coach Steve Renfroe came to Orlando to recruit Chapman’s catcher at Boone High School. That catcher, Joe Oliver, went to pro ball. Chapman pitched that day and caught Renfroe’s eye. By the time Chapman left Auburn his name was prominent in the record books and still is today. This is Part 2 of Mark Chapman in the Talking Tigers Podcast.

🔼 A Quarter For Your Thoughts. Auburn men's golf is advancing to the Elite Eight for the second time in program history as the Tigers' 4-over fourth round Sunday was enough to secure a date with No. 3 seed Virginia in the quarterfinal matches of the 2024 NCAA Championship at the Omni La Costa Champions Course. Auburn tees off against the Cavaliers at 9:40 a.m. CT from the 10th hole.

🔼 Getting Called Up? Pure Bliss. Former Auburn All-American Ryan Bliss has been called up to the Seattle Mariners to become the 59th big leaguer in program history. Bliss becomes the eighth former Tiger to be called up to Major League Baseball since the beginning of the 2020 season.

A three-year starter for Auburn from 2019-21 and one of four two-time All-Americans in program history, Bliss played and started in all but two games during his career and turned in a .328 average with 176 hits in 134 contests. He added 121 runs, 32 doubles, four triples, 20 homers and 99 RBI while turning in a .972 career fielding percentage in the middle infield. He led the team in hits and runs in two of his three seasons on The Plains and was a two-time All-SEC honoree.

🔼 The Voice of Auburn. We recently surpassed the 5th anniversary of the tragic deaths of Rod and Paula Bramblett. A family lost its mother and father, son and daughter, brother and sister, aunt and uncle. We lost our friends. Auburn lost its voice.

Prior to the 2019 football season, Brad Law, our producer with the Auburn Sports Network, created a tribute to Rod. This tribute features Brad, former Auburn baseball coach Hal Baird, Paul Ellen, Stan White, Quentin Riggins and Talking Tigers host Andy Burcham sharing fond memories of their friend and colleague. It includes a Talking Tigers Podcast with Rod from 2018, prior to his final season as the Voice of the Tigers.

This is a tribute to Rod Bramblett in a special Talking Tigers Podcast. Go here for the ways you can listen.

Tribute Trivia

Rod Bramblett was the Lead Announcer/Voice of the Auburn Tigers for three Auburn sports. What was the first sport he began announcing?
