Bodda Getta Daily Brew 5/10: Anna Cadabra

Like magic, Auburn women's golfer Anna Davis graduated HS early to earn her first collegiate victory

Good Morning, Auburn Family. While her peers and twin brother back home in San Diego prepared for prom and graduation, Anna Davis earned her first collegiate victory Wednesday, leading Auburn to an NCAA regional championship. Missing out on some of the traditional teenage rites of passage by graduating early was, for Davis, a small price to pay.

"Eventually, it was going to come,” Davis said of her many recent accomplishments. “Happy to do it at home."

Read the feature on Davis, including Coach Melissa Luellen’s take on her “firepower,” a tweet she received from (THE!) Tiger Woods, and getting to compete at the NCAA Championships May 17-22 in Carlsbad, California—just 40 miles north of her home course in San Diego.
