πŸ”Ό It was a Great TwosDay. No. 2 Auburn men's golf captured its second consecutive team title Tuesday at AU Club's Tiger Invitational, shooting 16-over 880 to edge out its nearest competitor by 15 strokes. Senior J.M. Butler earned individual medalist honors at 2-over 218.

"Such a tough test out there this week," Auburn head coach Nick Clinard said. "Our guys handled some adversity on the course for sure. They knew it wasn't going to be easy going in, but they battled. Our fight will serve us well as we look to close out the spring on top."

πŸ”Ό Fever Pitch. Behind arguably its best-pitched game of the season, No. 12 Auburn defeated Troy 8-2 in front of 6,138 fans Tuesday night at Toyota Field. Led by starter Conner McBride, the pitching staff allowed two runs on four hits and allowed just one baserunner from the second through the seventh innings.

"For the level of team that we're playing, for the pitches that I watched, the little things and the consistent side of the pitching staff, that was my favorite game so far this season," head coach Butch Thompson said. "I thought it was consistent. I thought all of our guys were competitive and in the strike zone."

πŸ”Ό Track and Field of Dreams. Three Tigers earned All-America honors after successful performances at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Juniors Vimbayi Maisvorewa and Simone Johnson and graduate student Sanaa Barnes all earned second-team All-America honors.

"What's most important to me is that they improved upon their placing coming in," said Auburn Track & Field head coach Leroy Burrell. "But we've got to bring more people to the show, and that will give us a better team environment. The athletes tend to feed off each other when there are more of them there pushing each other."

πŸ”Ό Pooling Resources. Head coach Ryan Wochomurka sits down with Andy Burcham to preview the upcoming women's and men's National Championships. The Women set sail for Athens, Georgia, March 20-23, while the men prepare for Indianapolis, Indiana, March 27-30.

πŸ”Ό A++ Performance. On the final day of competition for the women at the Zone B Championships, the Auburn Tigers did not disappoint. Abigail Farrar and Ashlynn Sullivan each delivered standout performances on the tower to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

The final day of the Zone B Championships features the men's platform competition. Ten spots are up for grabs when the action begins at 10 a.m. CT. Wednesday will also feature the men's and women's team competition (exhibition).
