Vault: 100 Years of Auburn Football
To celebrate Auburn's 800th win in program history, go into the WarEagle+ Vault and watch 100 years of Auburn football from 1992.
š¼ No Trojan Horse Needed. Freshman Lauren Dreves (10 kills) and Madison Scheer (8 kills) drove Auburnās high-powered offense on Tuesday evening to secure the Tigersā fourth win of the season over Troy, 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-18).
In the end, 10.5 team blocks and a season-high .369 hitting percentage were enough for Auburnās third sweep of the season in its first four matches.
š¼ Preseason Praise. Auburn Womenās Golf has earned a preseason ranking of sixth in the nation from Golf Channel, the network announced on Tuesday. Golf Channel also released its preseason All-American teams, which featured two Tigers. Sophomore Anna Davis was tabbed first team, while redshirt junior Casey Weidenfeld was named third team preseason All-American.
Auburn is one of 10 Southeastern Conference teams included in Golf Channelās preseason top-25, joining No. 2 Texas, No. 5 South Carolina, No. 7 Arkansas, No. 11 Texas A&M, No. 12 Mississippi State, No. 17 LSU, No. 18 Florida, No. 23 Vanderbilt and No. 24 Ole Miss.
š¼ A Soft(ball) Launch. Auburn softball co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux announced the 2024 fall exhibition schedule, which features eight contests over October and November.
The Tigers will play six contests at Jane B. Moore Field in October before closing out the fall slate with a road tilt at Florida State in November. The exhibition slate features three Division I opponents, four NJCAA foes, and a contest with Team Canada.
Auburnās fall slate begins at Jane B. Moore Field on Friday, Oct. 11, versus West Georgia.
